Superpower!
A Phoenix native, Jenn Briones graduated from Northern Arizona University, first with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology and later with a Master’s in Social Work. If you want to profile her: she is an ISFJ-A (Myers Briggs) & Scholar (Predictive Index).
Jenn is passionate about helping other who cannot help themselves. Her love language is Acts of Service and as the a mental health therapist, her therapeutic expertise includes supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and the unique challenges of major life transitions. She emphasizes evidence-based interventions, boundary setting, and skill-building to help clients strengthen relationships, increase resilience, and become the best versions of themselves. Known for her ability to meet people where they are, Jenn balances empathy with accountability, creating a safe space where healing and growth feel possible.
Before becoming a therapist, Jenn owned and operated a successful childcare center in North Phoenix, where she dedicated herself to preparing young children for the transition to school. She emphasized not only academic readiness through affordable, full-day preschool and kindergarten programs, but also the development of emotional and social skills that help children thrive in the classroom. Under her guidance, many children entered kindergarten performing above grade level while also learning how to regulate emotions, build healthy relationships, and gain confidence in themselves. Jenn’s work was rooted in her belief that every child deserves access to high-quality early education that nurtures both the mind and the heart.
Jenn has worked with local real estate professionals to help low-income families gain the necessary skills to prepare for home ownership. Jenn assisted clients with establishing positive credit references, developing resumes, and learning new skills that led to higher paying jobs. She supported clients in navigating the mortgage loan pre-qualification process leading many families to achieve their dream of home ownership.
Jenn’s work with the SMI (severely mentally ill) adult population ignited her passion for advocating for people with mental illness and ultimately guided her path toward becoming a therapist. Seeing how often the mental health system prioritizes patient care at the expense of provider well-being, Jenn sought organizations that valued both clients and staff. This led her to spend time with a small start-up focused on behavioral health integration, and eventually to private practice, where she is able to offer more personalized care and support clients in a deeper, more meaningful way.
Today, Jenn brings that same dedication to her role as a private practice therapist. She is known for her compassion, her ability to connect authentically while maintaining clear boundaries, and her commitment to helping people move from surviving to thriving. Jenn takes pride in meeting clients where they are, empowering them to grow into the best versions of themselves. Her exceptional organizational skills and calm presence enable her to balance multiple impactful projects while creating lasting change for those she supports.
Outside of her practice, Jenn enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for walks with her dogs, and recharging with quiet time at home.
